The 30-second version
Before:

- Trim branches.
- Shock the pool.
- Turn off the breakers and cover the equipment.
- Bring in furniture, toys, and your robot and skimmer.
- Pentair says to leave the pool cover off (Pentair).
During: Stay inside.
After:
- Make sure everything is dry, and have flooded equipment checked by a pro before powering up.
- Remove large debris by hand, then run the robot.
- Run and clean the filter.
- Balance the water, then shock.
- Lower the water only to its normal level (FSPA).
