Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 24, 2026
This policy explains what information Lazy Pool Owner (“we,” “us”) collects when you visit LazyPoolOwner.com (the “Site”) or subscribe to our newsletter, and how we use it. The Site is operated by Logan Miller, Parkland, Florida.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Newsletter signup: your email address, and anything else you choose to give us (such as your first name).
- Messages: if you email us or use a contact form, your name, email address, and what you write.
Information collected automatically
- Server and security data: our web host, Cloudflare, processes standard technical data (such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested) to deliver the Site and protect it from abuse.
- Analytics: we don’t currently use a third-party analytics tool. If we add one (for example, a privacy-friendly option like Cloudflare Web Analytics), we’ll update this policy.
- Cookies and similar technologies: small files stored by your browser, used to remember preferences and by affiliate partners (see below).
- Email engagement: our newsletter provider records whether emails are opened (using a small tracking pixel) and which links are clicked (beehiiv).
Our newsletter provider (beehiiv)
Our newsletter is sent using beehiiv. When you subscribe, your email address and engagement data (opens, clicks, approximate location, and how you signed up) are stored and processed by beehiiv under its own Privacy Policy. We use this data to send the newsletter and see which content readers find useful. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link at the bottom of every email.
The signup forms on the Site are provided by beehiiv. The form, and a small beehiiv attribution script on each page, load from beehiiv’s servers. They may use cookies or local storage to record how you found the signup (for example, the page you were on and the referring site or campaign link). Past issues are published at lazypoolowner.beehiiv.com.
Affiliate links and affiliate cookies
Some links on the Site are affiliate links (see our Affiliate Disclosure). When you click one, the retailer or affiliate network (for example impact.com) may place a cookie or use similar tracking on your device so it can credit us if you buy something. That tracking happens on the retailer’s site and is governed by the retailer’s privacy policy. We receive commission reports but don’t receive your payment details.
